The Department of Trade Defense (Ministry of Industry and Trade) has just issued a notice of receipt of a request for review of anti-dumping measures for some cold-rolled stainless steel products imported into Vietnam.
Previously, on October 21, 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued the final review of the application of anti-dumping measures on some cold-rolled stainless steel products originating in China, Indonesia, and Malaysia. and Taiwan territory imported into Vietnam and decided to continue applying anti-dumping measures for these products.
Related parties specified in Article 74 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management No. 05/2017 / QH14 have the right to submit a request for review in accordance with the documentation attached to this notice. The scope of this review includes but is not limited to the following:
– Scope of goods subject to anti-dumping measures;
– The dumping margin is applicable to one or several specific foreign enterprises;
– Damage to the domestic manufacturing industry.
After the review time expires, based on the investigation conclusions, the Trade Defense Department will propose to the Minister of Industry and Trade one of the following options:
– Continue to apply anti-dumping measures according to current regulations
– Adjust anti-dumping measures corresponding to the review results
– Terminate the application of anti-dumping measures.
Any procedures related to the review process will not interfere with the application of an existing anti-dumping measure.
The application must be completed and submitted directly to the Investigation Agency, before 17:00 on October 21, 2020 (Hanoi time) at the address of the Department of Trade Defense – Ministry of Industry and Trade, 25 Ngo Quyen, Hoan Kiem , Hanoi Vietnam.
